Close house hotel is a beautiful venue with a fabulous restaurant.
The parking at close house is set apart from the hotel requiring a short walk however if someone is with you, it is possible to drive to the main entrance, drop off, and return to the car park. The main entrance is NOT level entry, although a level entry is possible via a side entrance to the bar area. There are no ground floor bedrooms at the hotel and no lift facility. The first floor is accessed up two flights of stairs. The restaurant at Close House is amazing! (MY best meal ever was enjoyed here) However, there are 3-4 shallow steps leading into the restaurant area.
If you are a guest at a wedding etc. then all areas are easily managed, and a disabled toilet is available but DO NOT BOOK ACCOMODATION unless you can fully manage the stairs.
