I recently attended a Kings of Leon gig at the stadium and found the disabled friendly service and consideration to be amazing.
When the tickets arrived for the concert, a special parking badge was also recieved that hung from the rear windscreen mirror onn the night. This was GREAT, as it meant that we didnt have to explain to every other person that we were trying to access the disabled prking area - they could already see!
The route into the stadium itself was easy access and level, with plenty of stewards to offer help.
The disabled viewing was catered for through two large raised platforms, and the view was EXCELLENT, prompting a friend of mine who had standing tickets to comment that from now on she wants to go to every gig with me.
And now.......saving the best till last......WAITRESS SERVICE!!!!!
The venue provided dedicated staff who would take food and drink orders and then bring the drinks etc to you in the disabled area.
I have to say that the Stadium of Light provided fabulous facilities and service, and is definately a venue I would visit again. Well done.
