I, my daughter and her son went to Disneworld at Easter and had a wonderful time. We stayed at Pop Century which was excellent especially using the buses to the attractions, because I had my wheelchair we was allowed to get on first, we did fold it up then we didn't hold people up. The one thing which really spoiled my holiday was the attitude of certain people when I wanted to use the disabled toilet facilities, time and time again they where occupied by non disabled people, often families who thought they had a prior right to use them. We may not aways look as though we need special facilities, but try keeping your balance when the bones in your feet are collapsing due to rheumatoid arthritis. One day at Epcot I approached the toilets, using my walking stick, leaving the wheelchair with my daughter whilst I went, as I neared the door to enter a young family man opened it, I presumed it was so I could enter, but no, his 5 year old son dashed in started urinating in the toilet straight away and the family followed him in!! They kept me waiting for 10 mins and when I pointed out that the facilities where for disabled people he really ripped into me and I was fighting hard not to cry. This kind of thing happened time and again, I even checked with the Disney staff as I thought I they must not have been for disabled people, even though it was signed, they confirmed that disabled people did have priority. I am sorry to say that it was always people from USA who caused problems which really shocked me as otherwise you came across as really laid back and polite people, what happens when you get near these toilets?
